Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder is a condition characterized by distinct facial features, growth retardation, and central nervous system problems, and is a birth defect syndrome caused by maternal consumption of alcohol during pregnancy. Alcohol in a pregnant woman's bloodstream circulates to the fetus by crossing the placenta, interfering with the ability of the fetus to receive sufficient oxygen and nourishment for normal cell development in the brain and other body organs.

Cottonwood Treatment Center offers the following programs specifically designed for both males and females with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders:

Specially designed residential living for individuals diagnosed with FASD;
